A Bit About Me

I’m Dr. Anne Geary, a Psychology Associate at Georgetown Psychology. I specialize in psychoeducational testing for children, adolescents, and young adults. I view testing as an opportunity to uncover each individual’s unique strengths while supporting their differences. With a background in education and school psychology, I also guide families in navigating school-based supports, including IEP and 504 meetings, university accommodations, academic planning, and behavioral interventions. Collaboration is central to my work, and I welcome the opportunity to coordinate with educators and other professionals across settings.

I believe that individuals are the experts of their own lives, and I approach each interaction with deep respect, curiosity, and warmth—creating a supportive space where they feel heard, valued, and empowered. Whether through psychoeducational assessments or therapy, I aim to work collaboratively with clients to build insight, self-awareness, and confidence to navigate daily life. I am passionate about helping youth and families build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and develop positive self-image to create meaningful and long-lasting change. Drawing from evidence-based modalities, I tailor interventions and assessments to meet each client’s unique needs.
