The struggle IS real.
At Georgetown Psychology, we understand the complexities of today’s demanding world for kids and adults. That’s why we’ve developed our ADHD & Executive Function (EF) Coaching program. Like all our services, our coaching program values and affirms neurodivergent identities like ADHD and Autism while identifying and targeting areas needing support.
Whether you’re an ADHDer struggling with procrastination, a high school athlete balancing academics and sports, a college student juggling multiple courses and a social life, or a neurodivergent parent trying to support your kids while struggling yourself, EF coaching can help.
What is Executive Functioning?
Executive functioning describes the cognitive processes that allow people to create a plan, solve problems, make decisions, and manage everyday life. These skills help to regulate behavior and emotions, stay focused on tasks, and adapt to new or changing situations. Essentially, executive functions are the “management system” of the brain.
Who Can Benefit From EF Coaching?
While EF coaching is often associated with ADHD and other neurodivergent identities, it can help anyone who needs a bit more support managing everyday life.
EF coaching the Georgetown Psychology way provides personalized strategies and support to help our clients thrive.
