A Bit About Me
I’m Dr. Brianna Kinsey, and I work with children, adolescents, and adults who present with a variety of mental health and neurodivergent conditions. My practice is deeply rooted in affirming care that ensures clients’ unique experiences and needs are respected and validated. I believe that the cornerstone of effective therapy is establishing a strong therapeutic alliance characterized by empathy, non-judgment, and a deep understanding of each client’s patterns. With this foundation, I work with clients collaboratively to help them achieve their goals and engage in life in a way that feels authentic and consistent with their needs.
My approach is integrative and psychodynamic, drawing from client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based techniques to support clients throughout their journeys. I am trained in several modalities, including Play Therapy, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), the DIR Model (Developmental Individual-Differences & Relationship Model), and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy). I work with children at all stages of development, addressing a wide range of psychological concerns, including trauma, academic stress, and issues related to identity and sexuality.
