Be present. Be grounded. Be you.
Mindfulness is a gentle, present‑focused approach (focusing on the here and now) that helps individuals to slow down, observe their internal experience, and respond with awareness rather than impulse. In collaboration with the therapist, clients explore simple practices, like mindful breathing, grounding exercises, and noticing thoughts without judgment, that can be woven into daily routines. As these skills grow, clients learn to sit with difficult emotions and sensations in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
Mindfulness encourages a compassionate connection to the present moment, allowing clients to create space for new ways of responding to life’s challenges. Mindfulness-based therapy supports the treatment of stress, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions.
