A Bit About Me

Hi, my name is Dr. Adam Maher. I am a licensed psychologist primarily working with adolescents, college-aged individuals, and adults. I specialize in helping people navigate depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My work focuses on helping young people understand who they are, clarify who they want to become, and build the skills to move confidently toward that vision. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT emphasizes living in alignment with one’s values, developing mental flexibility, and learning to accept difficult and unwanted emotions. I work collaboratively with individuals to help them clarify what truly matters to them and take meaningful steps toward a more purposeful and fulfilling life. I strive to create a compassionate environment where individuals feel understood and empowered to grow in ways that reflect their values and goals.
