A Bit About Me
My name is Dr. Victoria Monte, and I am a licensed psychologist with extensive experience treating anxiety, stress, and depressive disorders as well as relationship challenges and life transitions in adolescents and adults. I have a clinical focus in health psychology and a passion for helping individuals work through a range of issues, including sleep disorders, tobacco cessation, weight management, coping with chronic illness, caregiver stress, and chronic pain. My therapeutic practice is trauma-informed and considers the unique values and cultural identities of each person. My orientation is integrative, where I employ cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and psychodynamic-based practices. I take a collaborative approach and am a firm believer that your expertise on you and my clinical knowledge and background can effectively be combined to optimize treatment outcomes and adjustment. Compassion is at the heart of my work, and I aim to cultivate an inclusive, safe space for all.
I am originally from New York and currently live in Fort Collins, Colorado, with my two dogs and husband. I love to travel and have been to Antarctica, Europe, South America, and Asia (only 2 more continents to go!).
